Do you know of any contraindications between clonidine and ativan? - clonidine contraindications

Is it safe to take these two medicines together?

No, you should have no problem. Clonidine is a beta-blocker that lowers blood pressure and Ativan is an anti-anxiety.

Depending on the dosage ativan amounts should be OK, but can lower blood pressure and that is the real purpose of clonidine. If you have a way of checking their blood pressure at home, can be used as wisely to ensure that not drop your blood pressure to a critical level.
